Craft In America

The second season of the PBS series Craft In America began airing last night. The award winning show is the work of the nonprofit organization of the same name, and it's dedicated to the exploration, preservation and celebration of craft and its impact on lives.

If you haven't seen it, I think it's a fascinating series, well worth checking out for anyone interested in artisan, handcrafted work. Click below to view a teaser promo. Or read an L.A. Times profile of producer Carol Sauvion and her L.A. crafts shop, Freehand, that helped inspire the series.
