I saw this great tutorial online for creating a curtained headboard with sconces.
It's convenient that the wires are hidden with this solution and, that along with the additional light, you suddenly have all this soft fabric above your bed.
Of course I couldn't help but think about what kind of wall sconces and plug in swing arm wall lamps I would like to try this with. Here are some of my ideas:
