GloFab is a Swedish company that's using fiber optics in a strikingly new way. This sphere caught our eye; it's made of a single strand of fiber optic cable that's been woven into an eye-catching design. Other applications have involved draping building storefronts, such as the Cartier flagship store in Munich. Very inventive and an indication of what fiber optic lighting is capable of.
